Refunding from the Combined Plan
If you leave OPERS-covered employment, you may request a refund. Because the Combined Plan has both a DB and DC component, refund rules apply differently to each portion.
- DC portion — Your vested member contributions and earnings are refundable
- DB portion — Employer contributions refundable based on years of service (0%–67%)
