The OPERS online account is a great way to stay in touch with us during and after your public service career. You can even use it to apply for retirement.
Online account overview
Your account has information on:
- Your current account value
- Your current service credit
- Links to benefit and health care calculators
- Important receipts and forms related to your account
Update personal information
Your online account makes it easy to keep your personal information updated with OPERS. It allows you to:
- Request a new password
- Update your address
- Update your banking information (for OPERS benefit recipients)
- Change your phone number and e-mail address
Select beneficiaries
If something should happen to you during your OPERS-covered career, who will receive the value of your OPERS account?
It's important to designate and regularly review your beneficiary designations. Selecting beneficiaries can help your family avoid a potentially costly probate process.

Wonder how much your pension will be when you retire? If you're in our Traditional Pension Plan, you can use our benefit calculator to estimate the monthly benefit under a number of scenarios – if you take an initial payment, if you add an additional annuity, buy service time, or choose a different payment plan.
