Before You E-mail

Please do not send any sensitive personal information (i.e. your Social Security number) via e-mail. To ensure the security of such information, be advised that OPERS will not release any sensitive information -- such as, personal account balance -- via e-mail, either.

To receive sensitive information regarding your personal account, you will need to contact OPERS via phone at 1-800-222-7377. Or, you can access this information 24 hours-a-day by logging on to the your Online Account.

Retiree health care: Due to the sensitive nature of individual health care information, please use your Online Account to ask a question regarding retiree health care coverage in a secure environment.

Employer Outreach: Please e-mail employeroutreach@opers.org. This e-mail address is for employer-related inquiries only and will be directed to the Employer Outreach department. To speak directly to an Employer Outreach representative, please call 1-888-400-0965 (Monday thru Friday, between 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).

Members under the Member-Directed and Combined Plan: Please call the OPERS Help Line at 1-866-OPERS-4-U (1-866-673-7748) is available for questions about the benefits and features of these two plans. The help line is also an automated telephone system that lets you perform most account transactions over the phone.
